All of the animals shown here are wild (although the deer were photographed in Richmond Park and Bushy Park, UK). The African pictures were taken during three self-drive safaris in Kruger National Park, South Africa, and at the Elephant Plains reserve nearby. www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger
Where any major digital image manipulation has been carried out it is stated in the caption. And whenever photographing wildlife the welfare and minimal disturbance of the subject has always been the top priority.
